Debbie has been drawing since the age
of 11. Her love of horses inspired her to sketch these
wonderful animals. At the same time, she also began a
rewarding life with horses.
The native of Montreal, Quebec
is self–taught, learning from hours and hours
of practice. In 1988, she dedicated herself to a
career as an artist. Debbie works in soft pastel,
and can achieve dramatic realism with her techniques.
Her subjects from kittens to horses or from birds
to wolves are accurate and true to life. It is important
to capture the unique personality of each animal
she paints. Most of her work is commissioned. When
not working for clients, she creates originals for
juried shows and exhibitions. Debbie is also a photographer,
does graphic design |
