His honour, Lieutenant Governor David C. Onley, was presented with an Artist’s Proof of the pastel portrait of Northern Dancer, commissioned by the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame. This original was created to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Northern Dancer’s career. The print was presented Wednesday July 9th, 2014 by Woodbine Racetrack to the Lt. Governor. The original painting hangs in the CHRHF at Woodbine Racetrack.

David C. Onley, is the 28th and current Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, serving from 2007 to 2014 and is the viceregal representative in Ontario of the Canadian monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.
